This is a big production festival which mainly depends on one open air stage (so could be a bit of a bummer if it started to rain). There is a couple of covered stages but these wouldn't be able to cope with the crowd in bad weather.Every hour they beef it up a bit by bringing on some dancing inflatables, confetti machines and big smoke blasters. At 9.00pm the main stage also goes into overdrive with its lazers and strobes etc.(this is only really effective after dark)The Saturday was just Tech House and crowd wise I felt I was on the set of Love Island,so it was quite posy with a lot of men who spend all day down the gym (with lots of tattoos) and girls with little on.It wasn't a particularly good raving crowd but they did pickup slightly after 9.00pm.I went because I thought Elrow was more a Techno festival and attracted a multi cultural Techno crowd. On Sunday it was Fat Boy Slim so there were more oldies in the crowd and it was a bit muted up until he came on, but it was much better aptmosphere once his set started.I would recommend going on the Sunday but not if the forecast is rain.

Was this the one in Stratford last Saturday?
There were plenty of people dressed up (or should that be undressed) for it as I headed to the football.
I wish I had gone to the festival instead, it looked far less depressing than watching West Ham.

Yes,another thing I found out is they have bought in loads of new parking restrictions over the summer so you can't park free anywhere near West Ham ground whilst a game is on (including midweek evenings) as I still go ocassionally also.

You can park in Westfield. But kerbside parking is always suspended when there is an event in the stadium (including West Ham home games).
My eldest used to live right next to the Jubilee line footbridge, so I could park beneath his place and then it was a short stroll through the Carpenters estate to the ground. Sadly he has now moved to Canada so I have lost that option.
