I don't think there are more people wanting to be nonces, merely that the whole thing with the world getting smaller and the growth of the internet makes it easier for predators to get to children without responsible adults noticing them, i guess back in our childhood it was more vans and puppies that parents could more easily try to keep their kids away from rather than chatrooms and fake profiles. Tbf, paedophilia does seem to be quite hectic in this country but imo this is not a new thing. We are just more exposed (*cough*) to it now because of the rise of social media and how quickly things go viral. The internet has meant that someone sending a dick pic can't deny it like someone flashing someone on a quiet street without cameras. And there was a huge hush up until not that long ago of how big the problem is so perhaps it jsut seems more prevalent now, but sadly the history is that this has always happened.
