well i have seen both pvd and tiesto several timesand they are\just as good as eac other i saw pvd at the gallery and at is legendary six hour sets at crasher and he is superb but i have seen tiesto at the gallery and global gathering and he has been superb so i think they r as good as each other
I have seen both Tiesto and PvD, although both times were in America and from what I hear they all play better sets around here. I would have to say from what I saw that PvD played a little better technically, although as far as rocking the crowd, there is no doubt that Tiesto wins. I have seen very many trance Dj's and Tiesto had more energy with the crowd then any of them.

I think PVD has more of a habit of dropping the right tune at the right time, and isn't afraid of playing somethign a little different, like more recently dedicating sections of his sets to breaks, or dropping older tunes etc...
Im not saying Tiesto doesnt, Tiesto just seems to play more upfront stuff in the same style, generally

Quality put down.
PVD for me. Bigger fan of his tunes and mixing style. Tiesto is great though.
