He's been called worse.

22/10/2017 17:34 he signs a petition that demands:

Change the law to ban the resale of tickets for more than their face value

Tickets are being bought from sites and are getting sold to third party sellers for a high price meaning real fans are missing out. Reselling of football tickets is illegal under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. Why can’t laws apply for tickets to concerts and other sporting events?

15/11/2017 12.06 you advise him to sell womad tickets worth £185 for £680 starting price.

Email from Viagogo:

Quote:
Dear Lisa,

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange for your tickets.

If you cannot use the tickets you purchased and there is still time before the event date, the best solution I can offer you is to re-list them by clicking here http://www.viagogo.co.uk/Secure/Pipeline/Sell/InitialiseClickOnceRelist?TranId=xxxxxx. We will market your tickets on our platform to find a new buyer. We do not charge any fees for relisting tickets that you have originally purchased from us.

Occasionally there may be reasons why the tickets can't be re-listed but it's usually because the event date is too near to allow secure delivery or upload to the buyer. If you do decide to re-list with us and your tickets sell then let me know and I will contact your seller and get them to ship to your buyer directly.

Once again, I'm sorry it's not possible to cancel/alter your purchase and I hope you understand the reason why this is so.

Kind regards,
Prabhat

Thank you for using viagogo!

On checking it seems that event tickets aren't covered by the 14 day cooling off period so we're going for the mis-statement of price, screen going blank and that the order confirmation email didn't come through for 10 minutes, after the one from Eventbrite.

Barclaycard say they'll suspend the charge and Lisa can dispute by submitting a claim form, should that become necessary.

Fingers crossed.

Viaconcon persist with their claim, Barclaycard have been great... (so far)
