whoops, if you're not hosting a (edit: simillar) event at the same time, then I guess the 2nd part of what I said was quite out of line, sorry
But, realistically, nobody gets to these events real early anyway, and those that turn up on time will be q'ing for the 1st bit anyway, so whats so wrong about giving someone a break and allow them to have the added 1000 pose points that comes from saying 'HHA, yeah, I played there, it was ok I guess'
Fuck it, it'll be a treat for the winner, something different for the regulars & all in all is an idea that really can't do any harm...

I'm sad. I e-mailed them. I'd love to know what it's like to play on that system.
Sat 3rd July - Trancendance @ Sub-Logic (last set)
Sat 10th July - Frantic vs. Polysexual / Lisatime @ The Coronet. b2b set with Tony P
Fri 30th July - Liquid Tek @ Deep Blue (SEOne)

Why dont you set up a rig outside, next to the queue, so at least the winner has an audience
BTW I'm with Fireclub on this one, I would be more embarrassed to say I played at HHA for 15mins than not at all. Its not like they are playing based on their djing talent. It wouldnt be long before the "brag" turned into an explanation of why you really played - and then u look a right twat
Also have you considered the fact that they might not be able to mix? I for one wouldnt be impressed if I had paid good money to have my evening started with mixing which was being done by a complete novice.
