Watched Unstoppable on sunday night with Denzel Washington in full on 'I'm the muthafuckin' Denzel Washington' mode. Ridiculously over-the-top bombastic fun with Tony Scott trying to out-do Michael Bay in what was to be his last movie as director.
Safety not Guaranteed. Quirky time travelling romance movie. 7/10
Spiderman, the one with the Crocodile. Better than the previous films but still not as good as camp 70s Spiderman. 6/10
Bourne (the non-Matt Damon one). Better than I expected. 8/10
Premium Rush. Tries to be Fast and Furious on courier bikes. Fails. 3/10

See I quite enjoyed premium rush, despite the utterly terrible plot. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is fast becoming a pretty solid actor for me.

The Lost Boys - Considering I haven't seen it for at least 20 years, it wasn't tooooo bad. The thing that struck me was how 80s the whole thing was. The clothes, music, everything. At the concert near the start, the band playing was utterly cringeworthy. All that said, it hasn't held up too badly, more humour than I remember with little Corey. The special effects are pretty lame. Flying is indicated by shakey POV cameras and wind noises, but the makeup on the vamps is actually pretty decent.

7.5/10
I think the whole '80s feeling throughout the film is part of its charm.
I know what you mean about the cringeworthy band though, the greased up musclebloke playing sax lol

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, it didn't make it bad. It's just one of those times when at the time it all seemed 'normal'. In fact I probably looked a lot like many of them with a shit mullet and stonewashed denim.
It's just strange how times change. Greased up muscle bloke indeed.

I think the whole 80's feeling was probably because it was made in the 80's

Agreed.
Last time I watched it was a few years ago. Luckily I didn;t have a mullet but I did wear stonewash on more than 1 occasion.
