Juno Reactor

» Conquistador I

Label: Perfecto
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

Juno Reactor's "Conquistador I" gets the remix treatment by Perfecto's Paul Oakenfold and Hibernate. This track was on Dreamstate, Oakey's album, and now it gets a full release right now!

With his remix, Paul Oakenfold brings the Full On Fluoro sound to the main Perfecto imprint. Now Oakey knows a thing or two about trance music and here, he adopts a Gothic feel, slightly, as he wraps the original track around a psytrance body; bringing in an ambient build-up and eerie feel. Very entertaining, I reckon.

Hibernate slow things right down and move into a progressive house mould. Much like their Lux Tua track, they move through the track; making it more gothic and more refined. Maybe a wee slow for the trance-heads but I like it. Smile
