I guess they're worried about the inevitable lawsuits, given Hopkins' pisspoor record with litigation. Her radicalisation-lite outpourings are to some extent responsible for the state the UK now finds itself in, and while I understand that some of it is a mercenary front I do still wonder how she lives with her squalid, weasly little self sometimes. If she'd actually wound it in a bit she'd have been a lot more dangerous. Fortunately the lure of controversy and the spotlight was too much so she always went to far and ended up getting shouted down. Her strongest supporters ended up looking like mental cases and over time got quieter as well. She'll be on the Loose Women panel soon. Has she won any? I don't believe she has. Coincidentally, I see that the Mail has today apologised and paid considerable damages to someone else who had been libelled by Hopkins. A theme common to all of her cases is her childish petulance and insistence she's right, even if the evidence shows blatantly otherwise. This is what ends up costing her employers millions and hopefully will one day condemn her to the dole queue for a long time. She's a parody of a parody of herself now. Noxious old witch.
