Label: Hyperdrive Recordings
Format: Digital
Genre: Hard Dance

Hyperdrive Recordings are back with another full on Hard Dance assault with this effort from Quade 77. Taking in elements of Dub Step, Hard Dance and Psy Trance this is... Not bad at all!

OK then, this is a racey little number at 150BPM which is way faster than I play at the best of times. It's shame really as there are elements to this tune I love and if it was in the low 140's I'd play it loads.
It builds up with typical Hard Dance zeal and quickly drops to a rolling bassline. Some great, if well used, Trance sounds build it up, some with a Psy Trance feel and it hammers along pretty relentlessly.
The break has touches of Dub Step, which is quite effective and leads well to more relentless Hard Dance when it all comes back in.

I do like this tune a lot but I am frustrated by its need to be 150BPM! If the producers feel like doing a 140BPM Trance mix then I think it would find a much bigger audience. Maybe thats not the audience they want though.

7/10
