I guess. What I don't understand is why I can't copy the info to the phone so it's always there/available and I can install whatever I want, whenever I want.

It's a bit worrying knowing I need the correct card when I'm installing Nervous

Yeah, I got half way through flashing my poxy old Magic to Android 2.1 before I found out i'd need a gold card to do it. I don't have a spare SD, and it all started to drift into "too much arseache" territory. So i'm stuck on 1.6 forever, boo.

I tried to make a gold card following instructions on the XDA forums. They had an small app for it... but sadly the app would crash every time with one of those dodgy "fatal error" messages.

There ended my attempt to flash my phone.
