Sydney's favorite intimate house party is proud to join forces with Paul Strange Presents for a night of pure soulful house and disco magic this October long weekend.
Favela - winner of the 2007 best new club award - will provide the perfect setting for Our house. Inspired by the infamous house clubs of New York during the 1980's, its intimate surroundings will ensure that the most important element of clubbing remains the music!
The night will be supported by some of Sydney's most talented DJ's and musicians, playing everything from early house and NY disco classics, to some of todays finest soulful and deep house.
GEORGE KRISTOPHER (HYS)
Part founder of the House your Soul label, George lives and breathes deep soulful house and its disco roots. Having just returned from his summer European tour, ‘GK’ played at some of the world’s best party destinations including the UK’s highly acclaimed Rainbow club and Ibiza’s Savannah Beach Club. Having supported the like of Ron Carroll, and Marshall Jefferson this year, Our House is ready for the ‘GK’ assault
PHIL TOKE
Phil's sets include a diverse and eclectic range of house music, so expect everything from raw deep house to disco and soul. His passion for quality dance music recently earned him a series of gigs in the middle east playing throughout Dubai, and Beirut at famed clubs such as Crobar and The Basement.
KRISTEL MORIN (K-LIFE)
Kristel is undoubtedly Sydney’s finest and most talented female soulful house dj. Her dedication to the New York Garage and House sound, has led to residencies at Hugo’s lounge and a current residency at Sydney's leading House night, K-Life.
MR X (HYS)
Mr X lives and breathes deep soulful house! The other half of House Your Soul, Mr X cites his musical inspiration as being the US east coast dj's and producers who have helped to advance and evolve the house sound. These include Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, and Karizma just to name a few. His intense passion for deep soulful house is conveyed in his sets, which are a concoction of excitement, creativity, and flair.
MICHAEL ZAC
Sydney will be hearing much more about this very talented dj/producer in the very near future, with 2 tracks to be released digitally later this year under the alias TMD!, Michael’s talents however are not confined to the production studio, with his sets consistently setting dance floors alight with his trademark deep sound.
BOBBY KAYROUZ
Not content with playing overworked boring music, Bobby is constantly pushing musical boundaries. Playing all genres of house with disco and funk, his main musical influences include Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Quentin Harris, MAW, Larry Levan, and Ron Hardy.
