Did anyone see this? Amazing feat of design and engineering!

A group of fine art graduates devised a program for designing an eco house, fabricating it onsite by cutting standard plywood boards, and then fitting it all together with a small workforce.

The "bricks" are large wooden boxes which assemble in around 4 minutes, and each one is individually and precisely cut with numbers to show where it slots in. Their tolerance may have been a bit too fine but the massive jigsaw it slots together and the result is incredible.

Kevin meets Celia and Diana, who plan a state-of-the-art home that will be the world's first computer-cut house.

University professors Celia and civil partner Diana want a modern home to retire to. Having renovated several older properties, they are now keen to build their home from scratch.

Not content with all the usual hurdles, they've decided to pioneer an entirely new way of building and will construct the world's first computer-cut house.

Celia and Diana are bravely acting as guinea pigs for a team of young industrial designers who came up with the system but have never built a house before.

Nothing these two have ever done can adequately prepare them for what lies ahead.

After last week's fiasco with the castle, and comments about the 0 tolerance, I feared they were going to have to re-design and cut with a small allowance when the wood got wet. Just as well they had the hammers with lead shot, another great idea.

Why didn't they use the roof as an upper deck for sitting/visitors etc? Was that because of all the stuff they had up there, solar panels and ventilation?

I dunno - only really had it on in the background but yeah, it would have been a nice idea. Looked cracking at the end though and nice to see a project actually get done on schedule more or less.

I think that the wooden house design is one of the most beautiful designs. It is very simple and easy to maintain. The wooden houses' design can be made in any shape or size. They are made in such a way that they look like a normal house but only with wooden material. Try https://masterbundles.com/graphics/patterns/polka-dot/ source to download Polka Dot patterns images. Some people have also tried making their own wooden houses designed at home by themselves, but this can be very challenging for some people so they need professional help to do this correctly.
