Chilled In A Field : 29-31 July : Final Wave tickets on sale NOW! Reported by News Editor / Submitted 13-06-16 13:55 Born out of Planet Angel and the ‘90s London party scene, this award-winning gem of a festival invites you to play all day and dance all night. Proving that family-friendly needn’t mean no-fun for grown-ups, days are spent glitter wrestling and tequila tasting while little ones enjoy a wealth of free activities to a soundtrack of excellent dance music and live acts. “When our friends started having children, it became hard to find events we could enjoy all together,” says Festival Director Sophie Randles-Dunkley, “So often, ‘family friendly’ means ‘no fun for adults,’ and we wanted to change that. Chilled in a Field Festival offers a safe space for whole families, and their child-free friends, to enjoy a weekend of partying together.” The festival Dance Bar will feature takeovers from Lost Dawn (Fri), Acoustic Chemistry (Sat) and Alumni (Sun) with Brighton’s Strictly Promotions providing sounds for the woods. HarderFaster Resident Miles Gorfy will also be putting in an appearance. Billy Daniel Bunter, Two Bad Mice, The Ting and The Egg keep the party going as the real ale and local cider flows.
