I thought any respectable person willing to deal with that sort of profession would adhere to those kind of respects when dealing with people.

Personally, I could never deal with the hassle.

I think the most important thing is if you can't afford something you shouldn't be doing it and no-one should be facilitating it either, the same goes for credit card companies, banks, store cards etc.

The difference is that credit card companies, banks, store cards et al are regulated, supposedly to avoid people running up debts they can't afford.

That's another potential benefit of legislation.

Well, the entire question is an answer to why drugs should be legalised. Clandestine dealers range from social contacts and friends who are generally concerned about the well-being of their clients, but also only sell quality product that they would be happy to use themselves, to street dealers who prefer to sell highly addictive substances and are purely in it to make as much quick money as possible. Obviously no vendor wants to see a valuable revenue stream cut off by inconvenient death but then at the street level it's not always immediately apparent if the drugs were the cause of death or only implied in it.

If you were a dealer and you saw one of your clients slide and fall into addiction, would you just keep feeding their habit knowing it would kill them, or would you try and intervene. Not fully intervene but at least say something about how it might be time to knock it on the head and not sell for a while?

Is this a wind up?

Act your age you f*****g t**t.

No I do not think so.

Personal responsibility is the essence of being alive. People take their own lives into their own hands when they take drugs. It is their risk and if they fall short they have no one to blame but themselves. That said, new designer drugs or "legal highs" have been tested far less times dose-wise than all the newer drugs thus making them more dangerous due to unknown interactions or side effects. The governments policy on banning new drugs and thus encouraging new unknown comopounds sits at the heart of the risk.

Futhermore blaming venues like Fabric for people dying is utterly rediculous.

People cannot be shielded from their own decision making.

Listen, clubs run on drug taking, they know that.

No drugs, s**t night, and nobody will come back.

Every sensible person who knows the scene knows that.

Yes, it's a tough one. How to appease the law whilst still making a good night.

And the law knows that too. That's why you saw no police, bar a token turn up, at hard house events.

Pill takers are no trouble.

They were there, you just didn't see them.
