I don't think I've ever seen a fight at a dance music festival, maybe some pushing but nothing full on.

I saw one at Moondance and also at Bass Nation last year.At the Found festival in Bethnal Green the bouncers were chasing a man and they all crashed into me in one of the tents, luckily I managed to stay standing and carry on dancing.
When I was about 11 I used to stand with my Dad with the away fans at Upton Park every home game (this was because we got in free and the only place they allowed us to stand)This was for about five years from 1976 onwards at the height of football violence in the grounds (West Ham was one of the worse) so I became immune to violence.

Actually yeah, I have seen security piling in, but not fights between punters.
Sounds like I've been lucky, fingers crossed Moondance will be OK as we're thinking of going to that.

Moondance should be good, similar to Tranzmission (which I went to last week - no fights there) but without Darren Styles and hardcore.
Also in August this year,I was surprised they took the gamble with this date as MOS tried to hold a festival last year on the same date, same place and had to cancel due to lack of ticket sales.I also go to 51st state the day before which is one of the few festivals that cater for a black crowd (though a slightly older one).I am surprised no promoter has wished to try a Bashment/Afrobeat/SOCA,R&B festival,I am sure they would sell out but maybe they cant get a licence from the police.
