Went to Printworks yesterday for the UKF event.(this is a hodgepodge mixture of drum and bass with a trancey feel to it).The crowd was young but this is the ideal venue for those who cant handle the late nights and are no longer responsible for entertaining the kids.
It is a first class venue possibly the best I have been to in my many years of clubbing excellent sound (or at least to my shattered ears) and superb light system.I am returning next week to a more serious techno type event which will probably have a different type of crowd and a couple more times in April.
Unfortunately I dont think it will be the saviour of London club scene as they claim as it is on prime building land near the Thames and central London and it wont be long before there are either high cost flats or social housing on this large site.
Make the most of it whilst its their.

Day events tend to get away with a little more in terms of licensing and noise.

Going there for Melt in March... Looking forward to it.

I can't wait to get to something there.

This. I will definitely be coming back to London for one of these.

I'm intrigued by it as a clubbing venue. It's a massive space. We went there in 2015 for the Secret Cinema Star Wars event .

Its an excellent clubbing venue but I don't think it will last long.I am guessing the Daily Mail sold the site to a developer to build high cost flats on (a bit like fort Wapping) as it is very close to Canary Wharf and the City and practically next to the Thames. Then Brexit happened and the demand for this type of property crashed.
If they cant get rid of it for high cost flats it will go to social housing it is much too large a site for a 5,000 capacity nightclub.

Also the ceilings are high,so it is a bit like the Coronet if you go on a cold day it is cold in there.I had three layers of tops on and didn't feel hot.

Yes, I remember feeling a bit chilled when we were watching the film.
