That will be a Bugaboo. Yeah they are about the price of a second hand car. More when you get all tghe accessories for it, which you'll need otherwise other Bugaboo owners will think you are a povvo.

Be aware though. We bought one and when our first started nursery, we had to buy a second buggy because they would only allow a totally foldable buggy in the nursery due to space constraints! So we now have two buggies, one of them costing £800!
I call it the bugger me.

The trick is not to have kids.

But then you have to rely on the council to look after you when you get old.

Thats nothing. Once you add the car seat (we needed two, one for each car) steriliser, bottles, moses basket, cot and baby bedroom furniture, you're looking at the best part of £2500.

Thats just what the baby needs to START with.

You're in luck - Slough will be a majority Muslim council by the time you 'retire' and they have an excellent reputation for looking after their elderly.

You don't need car seats if you don't drive and you definitely don't need two, we just wanted one each. You won't need a cot straight away because the baby needs to sleep in your room with you for the first 6 months. A nice moses basket is about £60 and that can be moved so you can have it in the living room by day and in your room at night.

You'll need a steriliser too. Definitely.
