I have been digging out my old Led Zep II and IV lps. Not listened to them for about 15 years and they still sound good. It makes me wonder how much of today's music will sound good in 40 years time.

I went through a spate of Zep a few weeks ago. Fucking awesome.

In answer to your question, hardly any. They seem to be all too forgettable in today's throw-away society.

I could only afford II and IV when I was 16, so I have been getting the others too.

It's easy to get carried away and say all modern music is shite, back then they had Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep FFS. But it has to be said, there was some cracking stuff.

Hey, I loved Middle Of The Road Suspicious

Personally there was more back then that I liked and still like than there is these days.

Jeez I sound like my parents Disturbed

Actually, in reality there is still a few bits and bobs around today that I do like, I just donp;t have the time, energy or inclination to seek it out and follow it as much as I did back then.

Journeys by DJ released the first ever mix by a dj on CD.

It was by Billy Nasty.

If anybody says otherwise they are misinformed.

What month did it come out? I've got a Paul Van Dyk mix from Germany that was out the same year.

Not sure, but it's very well known and claimed to be in the Guinness Book of World Records, though I've never seen it. Maybe someone here has a copy?

I've got it on tape. I think anyone over 30 has it.
