Sat Jan 25 - The South London Soul Train Express keeps on rollin' across the tracks, as your host with absolute most JAZZHEADCHRONIC is joined at the weekly Peckham Rye 'Get Down Soul' Refilling Station by MARLON CELESTINE and (drum roll Pls) Ex Prince and The New Power Generation Vocalist / Dancer and Actor, The truly legendary MARVA KING (LIVE) at The CLF Art Cafe
LEVEL 1 - MARVA KING (LIVE) - Band on stage at midnight
King sang with and for Michael Jackson, Prince, George Duke, Stanley Clarke, George Howard, 2Pac, Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins, Whitney Houston, Yolanda Adams, Anita Baker, Will Downing, Norman Connors, Ronald "Mr. Biggs" Isley of The Isley Bros. To name but a few. In 1997, Prince took her on the road, under his wing, and made her a member of his group, New Power Generation (NPG)—a stint that included recording on his New Power Soul album.
To say we are excited to welcome her to The SLST Live stage is an understatement.

LEVEL 2 / ROOM 2 - New kid on the righteous block SCARLETT O'MALLEY and FRIENDS play Northern Soul live on 45 All night Long.
The SLST 3 floor / 4 room line up completed in THE RYE WAX / BASEMENT by THE RYE WAX DISCOMITES. Rye Wax residents exploring the deeper side of Disco. Rare Cuts to Classics, Jump Up to Get Down. Expect pure fire in the basement, as Rye Wax DJs ignite a powder keg of good time sounds.
