If the Tories clear the deficit and suddenly put real money back in peoples pockets then it will be hard to see anyone beating them in 5 years. I guess we'll wait and see though. Problem is that Blair is still dining out (literally sometimes) on his time and earning excessive amounts of money despite not actually listening to the people so the next charm offensive (offender) will be more carefully scrutinised.
