Sabretooth

Label: IONO Music
Format: Digital
Genre: Psytrance

We dive into the HarderFaster archives and unearth a remix album by Sabretooth, a techno/psytrance producer. Here, he takes on Man With No Name, Sonic Species, Audiotec and more in a titanic struggle between progressive and full-on psy. If you've missed this one, fret not!

Nine tracks are on offer and each one is full length and unmixed for your audio pleasure. A particular highlight for me is MWNN's classic "Teleport", which was released way back in 1996 and featured on Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Fluoro DJ comp. Elsewhere though, we have classics from Sonic Species, whose "Just Another Freak" gets a right battering as well as Audiotec's Mind Technology which opens the comp.

This album was released in 2018 but the tracks are still fresh and juicy. I like the depths Sabretooth has plunged into to bring us these new mixes. I actually hope there's an RMX 2. This comp is very well together and flows rather well between the styles featured. If you want more like this, I'd recommend you check out Sabretooth's 1, 2 and 3 albums plus his other singles and mixes on other labels!
