Unfortunately, it seems that so far you've just come across the former category but please don't let this colour your view of the female race. Treat everyone you meet as an individual, as that's what they are + don't let past experiences make you prejudice towards those you meet now. Exercise caution, yes, but don't be hostile. If you keep an open + positive outlook then you'll attract like-minded people + next time you'll find someone who'll be more considerate towards you.
