» Ibiza Calling (Part 2)

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 20-11-15 20:21

Label: Levitated Music
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

With Summer now just a distant memory, Levitated Music unleash the second part of Cyres & DJ T.H.’s “Ibiza Calling”, this time with remixes from Chris SX and Tim Verkruissen. The original mix was featured on Part 1 alongside a remix from Manuel Rocca & Mhammed El Alami.

In contrast to the original, which was progressive, Part 2 focuses on the uplifting side of trance with both Chris SX and Tim Verkruissen at the helm; giving us more uplifting and clubbier vibes.

The Tim Verkruissen mix is more my fave, concentrating, as it does, on the more straight-forward vibe of uplifting. Chris SX, mind you, pushes the tech-trance buttons in much the same way as he did on RAM’s “RAMnesia” on Digital Society. Ibiza calling indeed.
