Yes we do! And I'm pretty sure it's my turn to cook. I am going to California a week tomorrow though so probably after I get back.

Don't come back fat Razz

A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

I reckon it's combination of factors for me:

1. Small frame and tiny rib cage
2. I fidget constantly - and did so even more while growing up
3. Food is probably lower priority to me than fat person. Food is fuel not something I generally fantasise about all the time. I eat when i'm hungry, not just because someone put a cake in the fridge.
4. I physically can't stuff myself with food. It's very rare that I would be able to get through a three-course meal. Two is the most I can ever cope with.

*I reckon most diets fail because they encourage people to think (or even obsess) more about food, which actually tempts to to eat more food in the long run. I reckon thin people are hardwired not to think about food as much and hence naturally eat less. Dieting people seem to talk about food the most, which means food thoughts will be in their frontal cortex which in turn will make them eat more regularly.

+1 on all of it! Thumbs up

You make a lot of good points. And these days work quite often involves 8 hrs of sitting in front of a computer followed by several hours in front of a tv. It's all too easy to just move your arse from one location to another without doing any exercise.

i also agree with all of this. i would LOVE to have control of dieter's food intake. i would guarantee they would lose weight and not be hungry.

i almost became a life coach coach just for this very reason

Oh as I was young and easy in the mercy of his means,
Time held me green and dying
Though I sang in my chains like the sea.

Me too. When anyone starts telling me about the 'amazing cabbage diet' they are on I just tune out. They may as well tell me they believe in fairies.
