So... i’m just starting to use CDJ2000NXS with a usb only. I used to use a board and the only thing i really is when looping. Heres my issue: The loop button, above the slip bottom, sometimes automatically starts a 4 beat loop. And sometimes it pulls up loop mode on the cdj screen.

Why does this happen? Id prefer loop mode, but that brings up the question: is the loop gunna start when i press the button on the screen (to select loop size) or when i pressed the loop mode button originally.

Lmk if this makes sense, please help if you can! downloader.vip/ccleaner/ www.happywheels.vip/ vlc.onl/

Are you prepping the tracks beforehand in Rekordbox or are you doing all that stuff direct just with an MP3 on a stick and doing it all on the CDJ2000 itself?

In my (limited) experience with those decks, if you don't do all the legwork in software beforehand the whole user experience sucks for DJing from USB.
Tracks take 5x longer to load in and process, many tracks refuse to load or even appear in the file structure for no apparent reason, even though they play back fine on the PC or even the USB slot of my car stereo. And, random shit happens. Not experienced that exact issue with the loop function but I'm not going near one of those players again unless I've run everything though Rekordbox first.

Short press on the left loop button starts a loop, right button closes it. LONG PRESS on the left loop button will auto quantize a 4 beat loop that starts from where you first started holding the button. It will also being up the loop length buttons on the screen.

I forgot the NXS and NXS2 were a little different. Just pulled out a NXS and it doesnt do that for me. Sounds like you may have a short between the loop mode and the left loop button like I was talking about.
