» Room Is Too Loud / Electron

Label: Pharmacy Music
Format: Digital
Genre: Psytrance

On Pharmacy Music, Changes drops his latest opus in the form of Room Is Too Loud, a double-header which features Electron on the flip. Do digital releases even have flip-sides? Anyway...

Room Is Too Loud fits the Pharmacy staple really quite well. Okay, I might be paraphrasing the blurb that came with the release but it looks good on the review so I'll go with it. With its progressive and slightly aggressive slant, Room Is Too Loud is a 9-minute journey. The production isn't as tight as mainstream psytrance but, in a way, that's a good thing. A good opener, I think.

The second track is called Electron. The electron is, for those who don't know, an electron is a subatomic particle that has a negative charge. That brief lesson over. what is the track like? In many ways, it follows on from Room Is Too Loud, in the sense that it is progressive. There's a good bass-line here. Yeah, I dig this.
