Her and her bf/'kidnapper' have invented the whole thing but given that they're both as thick as tar it was never going to work, so she ran as quick as she could back to the UK to avoid the attentions of the Italian police and attract those of model agencies, leaving him to take the rap and dream up increasingly more bizarre explanations. The 'shady group of dark web human traffickers' is a complete red herring.
