Hi,
I've recently converted a selection of vinyl directly to a usb flash drive via a belt driven phono turntable converter,is there any software I can use whereby I can import the recorded mp3 files and clean them up,ie: quantizizing and stabilising the bpm's as they fluctuate wildly (I'm assuming because of the belt driven recording?).Oh and the software would need to be compatible with Google chrome as I only have a chromebook at present!

Thanks. Pete.

Chromebooks are very underpowered, would they be able to do this kind of processing?

I know Ableton can do this, wonder if there are any online resources where you could upload your tracks and get them processed on a big server?

I'm beginning to think I might as well bite the bullet and invest in a decent laptop and go down the Abelton/Audacity route Matt.

That's a big investment, do you need to do this regularly or in big batches?

Maybe you could tap up a producer mate who has everything and run your tracks through their set up?
