Oh and I bribe my kids constantly, shit would never get done otherwise. I've convinced my daughter that grapes are sweets so she thinks she had a bonus if she gets some of those.

haha thats awesome!! I cant wait to try and 'out trick' them. I have learnt with friends kids that playing the 'keep quiet for as long as possible and whoever wins gets a sweet' does also work. Even if only for 10 mins, its better than nothing Razz

Kids are hilarious, they try things on you that you remember doing to your own parents. My daughter thinks I zip up the back, I have to remind her that I INVENTED the shit she's doing now.

You'll love it.

The standard ones like when the ice cream van plays its music, that means it run out of ice cream and that she has fairies in her room that make notes on her bedtime. They're like Santa's secretaries and they hand the list of her bedtimes over on Christmas Eve and that determines how many presents she gets. I've found her pulling out furniture to see if she can catch these fairies.

Its basically lying to your child but being ok with it cos they eat less shit and go to bed on time.
