Genre: Progressive

EL-EL start 2023 with a track by Tim French, a man who provided a Lost Angel remix on Tracks In Crimson Dust by Standard Form. Now, he returns with remixes from Qoob and Otto K. This is Kamino Static. A progressive beast, it houses a remix from the mysterious entity known as Qoob and a banging trance re-rub from Otto K.

For me, its the Qoob remix that pushes my buttons. Qoob has had tracks released on Solarstone's Pure Progressive label and here, we has an almost 9 minute journey that captures the essence of prog. Otto K, on the other hand, moves in a more psy direction; relying on gated riffs and an epic bass-line, while still being progressive in scope and poise.
