Fabric used to be the darling of London clubland, when I was a member approx. 12 years ago (during the nu school breaks scene) they used to queue round the block to get in and it used to be crammed most weeks.Nowdays (even coming up to Christmas) it is about a third full compared to those days,it has found it difficult to recover on Fridays (dont know about Saturdays) since its forced closure. It tends to attract a mixed crowd of young D&B fans, tourists, city workers and a handful of oldies.Billy Bunter was on the Epidemik room,I would like a Tasty hard dance set,but it is aways one of his old school rave sets at these events.Room 1 was D&B and was fairly full from early on and in full swing by 12.00am,which wasnt bad.Fabric do offer tickets as low as £5 if you buy in advance on Resident Advisor for Fridays to entice you in.
