Had a wicked time at D.I it wasn't rammed but it will definitely be one of those events that just keep getting bigger! so much potential, tents decorated well, main outdoor stage looked wicked! cheap drinks and the cloakroom was cheap (liked the fact we could get stuff out without having to pay again) very friendly staff and security, loved the chill out tent (we even managed a nap Laughs out loud ) met so many great people sporting crazy costumes, my fave tent was the roobarb outside arena.. most enjoyed sets were K90, Cally Gage, Dave Austin and Pete Wardman then in the Tidy Big tent We enjoyed Dave Pearce, Glazby 2b Farley...wasn't impressed with Public Domain testing their equipment out in the middle of Glazby & Farley's set (well rude) they are such divas ..we didn't even enjoy them 'how loud annoying is his voice' Raindance tent was constantly busy, all in all a good event will go next year! Cally Gage's mixing was so effortless - very impressed! Thumbs up

Had a blindin time at DI, defo an event which will just get better over time Thumbs up

Spent most of my time in the old skool and hard dance tents, missed farley b2b glazby... were they on later than they were meant to swear they were meant to be on an 2.30 Suspicious but the hard dance tent i didnt hear a bad set when i was in there Smile

Only loved the outdoor stage when pendulum absolutely rocked the place Thumbs up though swear a lot of people went home after they done thier set Confused otherwise chicane etc were good but not my cuppa tea.

Nice to hear rat pack playin a completely different set for once Thumbs up jilted generation (prodigy tribute act) were blindin as always Not worthy...

Well done to big ben for pulling it off for the 2nd year running, better than last years, was great to have all my mates out for once.

Only heard 1 shit set and that was Vibes, whether he had probs with the monitors (or he was pissed) but not one mix to speak of Thumbs Down

Only gripes of the night were they ran out of the lush cider they were selling at 1.30am and the taxi back to mates in newmarket was £25... Was only £16 last year... Credit crunch my arse Moons

Really enjoyed Dance Island last Saturday. I played last year & this time I was co hosting the outdoor arena with Mr Whippy & my Roobarb night.
A big thank you to Sonic (Mr Whippy) & all the DJs who played on our stage.

Thanks Claire, glad you enjoyed my set. I certainly had fun up there.

Numbers were slightly up on last year I hear, but still dissapointing there wasnt more people attending. The weather was really good, so it may be due to money being tight.

Well done to Big Ben for hosting Dance Island. It takes a huge ammount of work & money to put on an event of this size. I thought that it was very well run & drinks, etc were reasonably priced in comparison to other festivals.

Lets hope its onwards & upwards for Dance Island 2010.

Thumbs up The only thing I would change is more people, credit crunch has hit plus wireless was on the same day and then Global's and Glastonbury either side of D.I so I am guessing people can't afford to do all, but as already mentioned it seemed to lose people when Pendulam finished, maybe Pendulam could go on last next time Idea

I will defo go to D.I 2010
