Did they play the first 15mins of HHA then?

No but they were plucked from obscurity by someone intelligent and forward thinking enough to want to push new talent and give them the opportunity to play out in a club. That is something that should be encouraged, not slated by other DJs and promoters.
I have seen one of my residents, Alex James, go on to achieve really good things on the funky house scene up north. Without wanting to get all emotional, I feel so proud every time I see him on a flyer, knowing that I helped in some way, by putting him on and giving him the chance to develop his own style, play to a crowd and feel good about what he does. So well done to Dickon and the HHA crew for this great initiative-let's all get behind them and the lucky git who gets the set.

exactly. You will find the next Fergie/Halliwell are the *Ting*, Danny Gilligan, Peter Ward, Lady Bianca and Red and Blue and are cutting their teeth playing at an obscure but credible underground club in Vauxhall getting better every week before gracing the decks at larger venues like the Fridge and then going onto to album releases and over seas tours etc etc etc.

Yes, every week the same DJs. No chance of you giving the future stars a break is there?
Cutting their teeth.? What an insult to the likes of Danny, Ting and Peter Ward who were all well established names before Twist came along.

[Edited by Latex_Zebra on 24-05-2004 16:23 PM]If were going to insult our own residents can I just say RedCaT has a funny beard. B.S.E smells odd and Elvis is one step away from having a restraining order put out against him. As for Markus. He pretends not to like Hard Dance.
