WARNING! We are back after a massive year and a half break from our last event at the Royal Hotel: Southend Oh how time flies!!
After trying to find a suitable date and venue we have secured Saturday 1st May- its time for Bank holiday partying WARNING stylee at Union Club Vauxhall. We are returning with a showcase of the finest DJ’s and an eclectic music selection which has to be seen to be believed!! It’s set to be an amazing night with the line-up we have got installed.
We have the biggest names playing to the un-recognised talent that you will simply be amazed at that will create the get stuck in and dance WARNING party.
Main room DJ's- Funky Techno/ Techno/ Hard Dance/ Filth
Guy "Geezer" McAffer
WARNING's first techno headline is the infamous and talented Geezer, who has produced a vast range of music over the past 20 years. Over 500 records from numerous labels, travelled the four corners of the earth, playing music from rock to techno, dub to punk, it was a must we got Guy to play a banging Techno set for us in the main room and take you on a journey.
Along with his own label Raw he has featured and has helped numerous record labels such as Stay up Forever, Cluster, Max min, Hydraulix, Top Shelf, 4X4, Smitten, Highwire, Powertools, Hazcem, TEC, Pounding Grooves, Routemaster, Tortured, CL Recordings, Jerk, Intensive, Bionic Orange, plus many more.

KARIM
Our second headline and who I am personally happy said yes to play again at Warning is the legends of all legends in the underground NRG scene KARIM! He has been part of the underground scene banging out tune after tune, rocking dance floors up and down the country with his trademark kick drums, marching rhythms and funky grooves he is well loved and idolised by many clubbers, he is with out question simply brilliant. We all instantly recognise his style and can distinguish a Karim tune a mile off.
THE RESIDENT'S
Paul Batten
We all know Paul 'Chopper' Batten with his enthusiasm for music especially not letting hard house die, passion for techno he is well cemented into the clubbing scene. Being a resident at Twist, his contribution to caterpillar trax and playing up north at Hellbound, previously played in Ibiza his set for us his going to be amazing. Playing for two hours banging out tunes like Rattlesnake, Gut Rot, Crackerjack and newest tune The Beast. Check out his fan page for more details.
Brow
We all love Brow for his particular know how of music and passion. He has played for Twist and is in Ibiza this year we are proud to have Brow playing a two hour funky techno, progressing into techno; he is definitely going to have the main room absolutely rocking. So get there from the start party people and see him unleash the beats.
Tom Basquil
Watch out clubbers we have the king of filth and incredibly nice chappy and who has a massive fan base playing for Warning again. He's not closing but will be playing a filth set. With a residency at Twist, played for the deceased INSEKT party and various events around the country, its time on the 1st May to have it to Basquil's hour of filth with a whole load of new tunes, some collaborated with James Nardi.
Shenton
Shenton is a massively talented hard NRG DJ and producer. He has been mixing for ten years now and has built himself a very respectable name in the hard NRG scene.
WARNING is proud to represent a northern DJ who will bring fierce tunes, excellent mixing skills, pure NRG to his closing set. Owner of the popular Hellbound party you are expected to be "spitting blood" one of his tunes actually, bring it on Shenton you dirty bastard!!!
2nd room DJ's- Old Skool House/ Electro/ Liquid DnB/ DnB
Type 1
Type 1 original line up was Baz Sanders & Glenn Sharpe, Glenn has sadly had to retire due to developing tinnitus in 2008.
From the early days, when Type 1 discovered dance music at the infamous Freedom at Bagley’s at the age of seventeen, he was completely taken over by the music and the scene. And it was watching the Dj's spin each week that made him decide to invest in some decks and start buying the records they had been hearing at the weekend.
Type 1 has been working hard, playing mainly on the London circuit for 8 years and from this experience have rocked numerous residencies in London and have played at most of London’s major clubs and have held residencies at The Mass, The End, The Fridge, Fire and The Cross.
WARNING is extremely excited to have Baz play a warm up set to get you in the mood and this set is not to be missed.
The Prophet
The next special guest we have got to play and is well overdue and not playing hard house NRG is Twon. He is having a rummaging through his record collection for funky techno, party tunes, electro style tunes to follow on from Type 1. The Prophet is a legend who last played b2b with Batten at the Mass two years ago and went down a storm. Since then he helps run Therapy. Bring it on big man.
OB
OB last played for WARNING at our party in The Royal Hotel in Southend and his unique drum n bass set went down a storm. OB has been playing vinyl for ten years now and has a passion for the music, faultless mixing and eclectic selection of modern liquid drum n bass and old school drum n bass collection. Breaking from the bedroom to club this set is not to be missed.
DJ DEMO b2b Rooney
WARNING is proud to bring back DJ DEMO, with his energetic drum n bass mixing, latest selection of tunes he will be playing b2b with a good mate Rooney who lives and breathes DnB. They will be slamming out the tunes for 2 hours and all you DnB fans can brock out and have it with the b2b duo. You will really love the DnB being played.
Now with the DJ’s sorted and the venue organised, the only thing left is you, the clubbers. This truly is a night not to be missed!! Great music and an unbelievable crowd are iconic of WARNING, and this night is set to be BIGGER and BETTER than anything we’ve attempted before. All you need to do now is put on your raving shoes and make your way down to Union on 1st May.
