So, the future has arrived.

I'm intrigued to know how an independent Scotland thinks it is going to exist in an ever tightening Euro zone with monetary and fiscal union, stripped of all sovereignty...especially as collecting their own taxes and spending their own money…and being “Scottish” is at the centre of their case for independence.

I don't think an independence vote would win anyway at the moment...but love Alex Salmond's tactic of trying for a referendum in a year with a few emotive factors. Ryder Cup, Commonwealth Games, 700 year anniversary of Bannockburn.

Also the attempt to give 16 and 17 year olds the chance to vote is devious too...as I'd imagine there are fucking loads of chavvy 14 and 15 year olds who can be persuaded to vote Yes in the next 2 years.

I reckon the English should be given the referendum.

Who cares how they will fare.

Bye Scotland.

"If the team are up for it and that crowd are up for it, they will give anybody a game down there and many players will be affected by their vociferous support. My dad told me once, nobody has an easy time there and their supporters are the fiercest in the land" - Nigel Clough

They won't leave - there's more likely to be a "yes" vote from English voters to leave the "union" than from Scottish.

Well, I must say I'm surprised to hear that. I would have thought you were one of those BELL END Millwall fans who blindly supports Rangers and Linfield, for no other reason than they like to have football violence based purely on sectarian shit.

That's the thing that makes me lol about Scotland, their biggest football teams have fans half of whom want to be British and the other half want to be Irish. LOL.
