Aly & Fila with Ferry Tayle

» Napoleon

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 28-08-15 12:00

Label: Future Sound Of Egypt
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

French trance producer Ferry Tayle and Egyptian trance overlords Aly & Fila collide in a heavyweight clash. After collaborating with Philippe El Sisi, Bjorn Akesson and others, this is the first time that the Franco-Egyptian connection have worked together. With that in mind, this is “Napoleon” on Future Sound Of Egypt. One mix on show here: the Original Mix.

Those who know Aly & Fila or Ferry know the drill here: pounding trance with a Gallic flair and a touch of Cairo’s magic thrown in for good measure. This one hits the ground running with an epic kick and a rampant bassline. A nice melody too; with Ferry doing his usual mystical thing. There’s something very mythical about what Aly & Fila do. Its like a piece of Egypt is given to us in every production, or remix, they do. It’s certainly powerful and it presses all the right buttons. An epic concoction. And no mistake.
