We are still waiting for the all important Florence speech, maybe she has learnt something about content and delivery for this one.

Although not sure how much say City Hall would have over a TFL statement, I'm sure labour's leadership would rather she stew in her own faecal juices over what is most likely to be the least inspiring speech since James Bowie said "we're fucked" at Battle of the Alamo .

Just listening to the speech, pretty sure the EU will be pissing themselves at the pomposity of it all.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those that could not hear the music -Nietzsche

Listened to 10 seconds of it before I *had* to turn it off.

"From everyone, the reaction is mostly the same: she didn't say anything we didn't know before, and wasn't leaked in advance. The two important bits – the transitional period for two years, where the UK will stay in the single market, and the talk about a new negotiating position – were both briefed before. And much of the rest was vague fluff: co-operation is important, we have a good opportunity, and so on."

And Sterling is falling. Yay.

Does this mean you'll have to frequent more bus journeys, out of interest?

No.
Anyway, buses aren't as exciting at the weekend. Much busier so the individual strangeness can be lost.

Well at least she got a holiday out of it at the expense of the tax payer.

Reading the transcript it just seemed devoid of any real content and just confirms my view that no one seems to know how to leave the EU without it being an absolute fucking nightmare.

Some would say this highlights WHY we need to be out of it's insidiousness. To be it just highlights how messy divorces are when you have loads of kids and investments and they all want something different out of the deal.

I was going to be flippant and say more people care about Uber than brexit then realised the Uber drama is only about the London licence so it's hard to say.
