My mom voted to leave and I was shocked. She is an immigrant like me, couldnt believe it. We fell out for a few days and then I realised, what good is crying over this going to accomplish but divide even further? It happened, we just have to get on with it.
Its not as bad as SA which is proper fucked. I keep telling myself that and it helps

It’s brilliant. Not only are we leaving the EU, who’s laws actually kept us relatively safe from overtly batshit policies. We’re now being run, likely unopposed for years, by a tory party that have already cut funding to schools but are doing their utmost to destroy and privatise the NHS. Among a shit load of other things.
The best one will be when those who voted leave start to get affected by this stuff that they will cry “Why is this being allowed to happen.”
Well because you took away one of the few checks in place to stop this shit.
Ask the majority of leave voters how we’ll be better off and they haven’t got a clue what to say.
