Genre: Trance / Chillout

On to Discover we go with a 2016 re-issue of Ben Gold's "Today" with Iran's Senadee. Remixes come from Thomas Datt and Germany's DJ T.H.. Ben Gold's original is also included for good measure!

First up, its DJ T.H. with his Tomorrow mixes. Uplifting is the name of the game here with pounding drums and tight bass-lines being prevalent. Senadee's luscious vocals shining through like a beacon in the cold, barren, land. The dub mix follows suit but the vocals are stripped back and used sparingly.

The original mix by Ben Gold follows the Tomorrow mixes. Its a bit more melodic with a softer beat section. It was made in 2006 so it won't have the modern feel of the Tomorrow mixes but its still pretty funky.

Thomas Datt closes the set with a Chilled Datt mix. This is different from his up-tempo, banging, mixes and is more relaxing, more...benign in style. Breakbeats frolic around a lovingly produced article. Its the perfect way to end the 2016 Today remix package.

All in all, an all-round good package. Thumbs up
