April will see us going into a rarely used warehouse space in the Truman Brewery above Café 1001. A dramatic big warehouse space awaits us with access to a smoking garden and Funktion One sound. This space is looking a little bit special.

Arnaud le Texier (Safari Electronique/Cocoon)
The man behind Safari Electronique has established a strong reputation as both producer, DJ and label owner. Releasing music by the likes of Johnny D, Ekkohaus and Miss Fitz, the Safari Electronique imprint has created a reputation. Arnaud has released a selection of ep’s and upcoming releases on Cocoon, Serialism and murmur highlight his quality. As a DJ he has played the cities finest clubs and parties and if Safari Electronique’s 5th birthday party at Fabric is anything to go by, we are in for a hell of treat.
BLM (Fear of Flying,Tsuba)
Ben Micklewright or BLM has been involved in the Dance music scene since his father first bought him his first set of turntables. At the age of 15, while hooked on UK Garage, he went to work for one of the UKs best independent record shops (Massive Records), which would prove to be a great introduction into the world of house music.
Five years on and with a move to London, Ben has been busy setting up and co running up and coming label Fear of Flying with long-term friend Jay Massive. The labels success has been rising with keen support from the likes of Luciano, Raresh, Steve Bug, Loco Dice, Craig Richards and Terry Francis. Future releases from Schatrax, Leif, Pawas and BLM will ensure the label’s success will only grow.
Marc Ashken (Leftroom/Perc Trax)
Marc has made a name for himself as both talented producer and DJ. An album released on the fine Leftroom imprint and various ep’s, including being remixed by the likes of Lee Foss and Marc Houle, have confirmed his quality. As a DJ he is uncompromising and his style sits somewhere between house and techno. We welcome Marc with open arms.
Canary Fontaine (Mean/Serialism)
Canary Fontaine’s (aka Ollie Silva) Dj’ing has taken him all over the world and seen him play alongside some of the industry’s most admired Dj’s. Whilst his dj sets take us through his early knowledge and passion of techno, house and disco, his own tightly mastered tracks continue to push the boundaries, with a second ep on Mean records soon to be out later this year.
Zippy (Serialism/Thema)
Co-conspirer with Canary Fontaine, Zippy endeavours to create some groove-based intrigue. With productions supported by the likes of Terry Francis, Daze Maxim and Luna City Express and an upcoming solo ep on New York’s Thema imprint, it appears Eddie Smith has a lot more to give.
