England to limp out of the group to get knocked out on the next round.

Usual problem, we have our star players and so we have to shoehorn them into a system that they are not used to or suited to playing in.

Vardy has been brilliant playing as a target man for a side that defends deep than counter attacks very quickly. Not sure how that makes him suited to start on a wing in narrow possession side.

I'm hopeful we might be able to get our formation sorted but I suspect you're right about our eventual exit at the second round.
I think it's just a case of swapping Rooney and Alli around to prevent Rooney forcing the others out of position and letting them (Vardy, Kane and Alli) play their more natural game more centrally getting the width from Sterling and Rooney.
Our defence isn't good enough to soak up attacks to play on the counter attack so we're never going to play the Leicester way.

Edit: Am really looking forward to the tournament now though, although I wish the Dutch were there.

I think Vardy should be on the bench and used as an impact sub. His pace could make the difference if we need a late goal.

I do worry about our width, we seem far too narrow.
I think there is a danger that teams will pack their defences while we try and fail to pass the ball through them, we will inevitably give the ball away leaving us for a fast counter down the flanks.

I am worried that Alli is a red card waiting to happen, he is far too easy to wind up.

Still I am looking forward to the tournament, I will try and watch every game as usual. I also hope that Woy and the lads prove me wrong.

I have thought the same about Vardy and maybe using Sturridge to start and more scarily I have to friends said that Alli is waiting to become the new Beckham/Rooney villain for getting sent off and costing us a game.
I think Rose and Sterling can give us the width we need, but I would like to see our natural strikers more central and closer the goal than forced out wide as Rooney forced them to play against Portugal.

I hope we can progress, but my main goal is just not losing to Wales, I couldn't handle them beating us at the Rugby World Cup AND the Euros in quick succession.

Sturridge isn't as good as the media and he himself thinks he is. An average player in a mid table side.
Vardy does not fit into a possession side IMO, I am amazed that Arsenal are willing to pay a small fortune for him as I don't see him as a good fit for their style of play.

I have a close mate who lives in Wales, I hope we stuff them for his sake.

What would your starting attacking line-up be?

Not sure if this needs its own thread, but I've set up a HF league for Euro 2016 - Sign in/up here: http://bbc.in/1ZxSqKf

Neither do most Arsenal fans. I think Wenger is trolling to bump up his price for everyone else. Razz
