Done.
Couldn't even buy my 5 year old a ticket to see Little Mix because they had completely sold out within minutes and then were being flogged by people at 3 times the cost.

So not because they're overpriced in the beginning then?
Resellers are involved in every aspect of retail/sales
How much was the ticket in the first place? Isn't that what the petition is about...
Shall I make a petition for you because you're not quick enough to purchase a ticket online?

They were £100 each and yes, very over priced but I'll be honest, I would've paid that. That's what I expect tickets to be now, despite the fact that their average fan is probably 8 years old.
I work so unfortunately that Monday morning I couldn't sit on the phone on hold or refresh a screen. I tried about 2 hours after they went on sale.
I assumed that this petition was to stop tickets being sold over a certain value to stop touts and sister agencies from buying them all up and selling them at double what they're worth.

The reason people can't get tickets is the touts buying them up for resale, this would remove their financial incentive and make more tickets available for the general public.
I'm pretty sure the ticket sites are complicit in this, doesn't one run a number of secondary resale sites?
Latex Zebra Yeah, something is probably happening somewhere.

Don't be a plum.
If you legitimately miss out on a ticket because they sell out in record time to fans, then it is one of those things.
The problem is when half of those snapped up are by people buying them to make a profit. People buy up huge amounts of tickets, and have teams buying them up in their droves for commission. It's wanky as fuck.
It's like me seeing you head towards the beer isle in a shop, buying everything on the shelf and then selling you the beer for double the price on the way out. It's just shabby.
I appreciate that people need to sell on tickets now and then and there should be a platform for that to be done. But at face value.

In fairness a lot of events are now doing this, particularly with the fraud etc. going on. We just got our boom tickets in the middle of a cyber attack and they have a REALLY wanky policy of no resale, no refund no renaming.
