More: On Saturday 5th April The Octomid will be playing their headline set at The Borderline with support from Escabeau, Moncrieff, Damn Beats and Stalkin Hawkin.

Hosted by HOT VOX at one of London's most legendary venues, this line up is some of the city's most talked about bands who are storming through 2014.

Headline band The Octomid are a live electronic band, with a cinematic sound influenced by trip-hop, rock, and many sub-genres of dance. Sometimes downtempo, it also takes in house, electro and what is currently being called post-rock EDM. Housed in this venue, their sound will follow in the footsteps of the legends of Borderline, providing plenty of fun and great tunes for the entirety of their set.

Support comes from Escabeau, a band of musicians coming from an eclectic mixture of vintage styles, classical avant-garde and modern-day sounds. They’ve played many packed out show around London, so make sure you grab their set here.

Also on the line up is Moncrieff a relatively new artist to London, but one who is making a big scene here. With a forthcoming debut EP on the way, this Irish soul artist is due for big things this year.

Damn Beats are next on the line up. Their fresh, punchy and funky sound will keep get the room jumping, bringing big things to this night.

Opening the night is Stalkin Hawkin, a five-piece from North London who will set this night off to a rightfully banging start.

Housing plenty of legendary artists with an abundance of new and exciting music, its location couldn't be more central. Combine this with its intimate atmosphere and you have one of the best venues in London. Saturated in creativity, solid in substance, The Borderline continues to attract the best of the best and with this epic line up, be prepared for a night not to disappoint!
