I'm the 80s blokes in pink was massively fashionable.
It's just colours. Associating genders to colours is a bit old fashioned.
Just wear what makes you feel comfortable.

I have forgotten to unload it before now. The clothes smell after a while and need doing again.
that is true, but quite often the washing machine itself needs a good clean - depending on how old it is, it may not have a self-clean function but you can use a cup of white vinegar and on a hot wash and let it run through the cycle.

I have a lovely pink short I wear to work.
I'm with you, I don't mind pink.
Wouldn't wear it though. I get enough folk thinking I'm either gay or a copper.
Actually not a copper round here, it's a 'gavver'.

I use those thingys you buy, those packet things. I'll find them on Amazon. Only once a month, cheap too.

Good these things.
I learnt of them when the machine broke down and an engineer tried to sell me a box.

Yes, through choices made later in life.
Babies though are given the colour dictated by the gender.
Hell, I'm sure with a little digging, I could find baby clothes saying boy or girl in the respective colour.
Like I said. Old fashioned thinking.
The amount of times people thought our daughter was a boy or vice versa as babies cracked me up.
We dressed them in whatever they looked good in.
Next you'll be saying girls can't play with toy cars.
