+1. Today has been all sorts of wrong.

It really pisses me off that the nicest person in our building has had so much shit thrown at her. She had just come out of the official mourning period (4.5 months) for her husband 10 days ago and went to see her mother in Yorkshire for the week, who then died this weekend. It's fucking unfair that some cunts lead a fucking charmed life when this absolute gem of a person gets non-stop drama (NOT self induced) and really deserves a prolonged period of happiness.

that sucks. One of my colleagues is 22 and has been hit with the most shit I have ever heard. Had an opp last year, she will never have kids, she lost her nan and grandad in the space of 2 week. her mom and sister were both diagnosed with terminal cancer, a fe months ago, she broke her leg 2 weeks ago...and yet, she still smiles and says things like "other people have it worse than her" and "it can only get better". Made me cry a few weeks ago Frown

Fucking hell to both of these.

The amount of coverage being given to Pippa Middleton's marriage. She's a fucking commoner who became famous because she upstaged her princess sister with her nice arse on her wedding day.

Event politics and NFI(nvited) guilt.

Someone felt that I should have been invited to an event hosted by people I barely know and rarely see and that created an issue. I knew nothing about it until an apology came my way which pissed me off that the person even felt they had to apologise.

It's all sorted now, but I was guilty of doing the same thing a couple of months ago when I asked if someone had been left off a list and it caused a bit of tension.

When an event has been planned and some people are not invited, instead of getting involved and asking why they are not on the list, it's best to just stfu because s**t may have happened you know nothing about and you then land up in the firing line too. Unless that event admin specifically says "if you feel someone has been left off...", that's usually the intended guestlist, leave it at that.

People who ask someone else to find out why they have not been invited can also f**k off as that creates an issue for that person. If you feel you should have been invited somewhere, speak to the hosts directly, don't create politics in a group.

Also - the stupid cow in my office who is here in a heavy cotton long sleeve shirt and trousers and had a jacket on when she arrived and is proclaiming how awfully hot it is!

Facebook just recommending whatever the fuck it wants based on a keyword in a recommendations post and linking it up despite clicking the X.
