Mother - beautiful film, funny in places, dark in others. Its nice to watch a Korean film that isn't horror (don't get me wrong I love horror, just nice for a change). It had a warm feel to it.

Secret in their eyes - Great story, great acting, believable characters. After this I may see if I can find some more Argy films as I don't think I've seen one before but I really liked this.

Ok so I watched Salt now and it was not bad. I've seen better spy/espionage/terrorist films and Jolie does not really suit blonde but it was still worth watching...at home not the cinema. 5/10

Salt was nothing particularly special but it's reasonably watchable although Angelina doesn't look so good in blonde hair Messy
Wouldn't bother going to the cinema though.

I downloaded that, but then found it was a crime thriller, so not sure if Soph will be into it. However, that led me to download "Illuminados por el fuego" which is an Argentine film about the Falklands war.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iluminados_por_el_fuego

It's set looking back at his experience in the war, but in the last few mins he goes back to Stanley and you'll see familiar sights...then off to Darwin to the cemetery. Haven't watched the film yet, but Soph and I watched that bit.

Another film my brother really rates from when he lived there, is Moebius, an Argentine sci-fi film regarding a train on the BA Metro that vanishes.

Repoman - very futuristic with fascinating predictions of the future. Also The Infidel which is a social commentary on religion and racism but has quite a few humorous moments when the protagonist is torn between 2 identities.

Will check out some of the movies mentioned in the thread Thumbs up
