» Cafe del Mar (The Remixes)

Format: Digital
Genre: Electronica

Cafe del Mar is a bonafide classic. Michael Woods, Nalin & Kane, Hybrid, John 00 Fleming and others have remixed this monster and reincarnated it many times. But now, a radical new interpretation appears on Memories Of The Future by HEO. Its a slow-burning widescreen ambient restructure. Here are the remixes.

What makes this version is the care and attention that has been lavished on this wonderful masterpiece. Not so much a progressive remix, more of an electronic landscape. Steven Weston provides my favourite mixes on here; the Pure Love mix is a belter. Lovely and quite benign.

The other mixes come from Dorai & Denham who offer more upfront, but still progressive, gems. As I say, my fave mix is the Pure Love mix by Steven Weston but the other mixes are cool.

Big grin
