Apparently us PETA animal lovers who think we're doing good by only wearing fake, could actually be wearing 20% cat or rabbit!! Shocked

Karma is a beautiful thing.

Yeah, saw that story last week.

There was a man in front of me in the queue in tesco's buying condoms.
When the cashier asked if he needed a bag, he said "No, she isn't that ugly"

PETA does it's own brand a lot of damage. Much like Greenpeace used to. It's one thing looking out for animals, it's another assaulting people and damaging businesses in its name.

I remember the time they had Naomi modelling for them. Next thing she's parading down the catwalk for this designer that's known for their head to toe fur.

Karma is a beautiful thing.

This begs the question, why are designers using real fur instead of fake? It's a potential PR disaster.

Sadly, my conclusion is it's cheaper.

Animal rights protesters have been known to attack vintage dealers who deal in real fur.
We are talking about animals that have been dead for over 40 years, selling a vintage mink coat is not harming animals.

I've got chickens in my back yard

True, but they would argue that by wearing fur, vintage or not, is encouraging the trade, thus demand.
Personally I think real fur looks disgusting. I remember my father's mother having this fox wrapped around her neck. Yuck
Mum too had two fur coats. One custom made. No No

Karma is a beautiful thing.
