Kicking things off will be funky house afficianado Darz, who has funked up dancefloors in Ministry of Sound, Turnmills and Ibiza with the Thirsty DJs. Darz is a monthly resident at Kurruption and his ripping funky house set at Judgement Sundays recently had Eddie Halliwell and Judge Jules grooving along to his tunes.
Flying in from from DJ Mag Towers, Terry Church will be providing some proper prog and techno. Terry has graced The Gallery main room at Turnmills and sent us a truly excellent demo CD before his becomeone gig last year.
Does anyone love it as much as Dom Pardey? Fresh from impressing not only the discerning Knowwhere trance crowd in the main room of The Fridge, but also his own Mum and Dad (a hard act to please), Dom will be spinning back to back with our very own Shaun Rowland. This will be Shaun’s pen-ultimate set for becomeone and his penultimate ever back to back set in the UK, who better to share it with than with his favourite sparring partner Dom Pardey. Expect some dirty trance and house from the boys.
Heat resident Ian Betts is one of the most experienced and respected trance DJs in London. Fresh from taking Ibiza by storm with his set for Cream at Amnesia, and a slot at SW4 alongside Sasha and Erick Morillo, expect the best in truly uplifting trance sounds from the great man. Dave Pearce certainly rolled a fat one when he played Ian's stunning "Love Resurrection" on his Dance Anthems show earlier this year and we can't wait to have him back in the becomeone DJ booth. This is Ian’s first b1 appearance since April and it has been far too long! Be there to welcome him back to Turnmills…
Closing the evening, Steve Blake will take it up a notch with some tougher trance and hard trance action. Steve's "I Get A Rush" is one of the most loved hard trance tunes of all time and still tears up dancefloors on a regular basis. Steve has had crowds at Frantic, Tasty and Heat loving it this year, and we look forward to more of the same. This will be the last ever Hard Dance slot at becomeone as from next month we will be finishing on trance and introducing more house to the proceedings. Be there for the last ever becomeone hour of bosh!
