I think it's a good move, a tone that Kim Jong-un is more likely to respond positively to ie flattery.
I'm not sure letting the other major war monger on the planet meet with most unstable one is going to end in a picnic, but talking has got to be better than this constant posturing from both sides.
Suffering from a small case of mood poisoning, must be something I hate.

Fired the head of the FBI.
Mr Comey was addressing FBI agents in Los Angeles when, according to Politico and the New York Times, he learned he had just been fired when he saw the news on television.
The 56-year-old - who was three and a half years into his 10-year term as FBI director - reportedly laughed, thinking it was a prank.

Alluded that he had taped Comey before firing him. Which is illegal. Or stupid. Either he taped him and breaks the law, or has to admit to publicly lying and attempting blackmail, also illegal.
That impeachment is coming sooner than he thinks.
It also makes me wonder how much bullying he did in his pre-president years.
